My guest Ann Hince's book is called the Pathway To Insight: Recapture Your Childhood Buzz, is one of the best books that I've read on manifestation.

If you've read stuff about the Law of Attraction that feels fluffy and vague, Ann makes the quantum mechanics of manifestation accessible and actionable. And that's no small thing. She points out that reality creation is NOT just a mental game. We think it's just in our head, that if we're thinking the right thoughts that everything will shift for it, but it involves our physical bodies too.

What? Our BODY is involved in reality creation?

Yep!

Think about it. The body is our subconscious mind. We store stress, distress, shadow aspects and trauma in there which literally changes the condition of our physical body. This content influences our beliefs and beliefs influence our behavior which can feel f*cking intractable when we're trying to create a new experience but have not discerned how all of this is connected.

The lightbulb moment is OF COURSE we are not going to shift our experience if we're just applying affirmations, manifestation scripting, optimism and mental exercises. Because subconscious resistance is literally trapped in the body. By relieving that resistance, we powerfully shift our "signal" as Ann calls it not to mention we can see profound change in our physical health.

When Ann was 19, she woke one morning to find her mother dead in her bathroom.

Twenty years later the tears from that trauma were still just under the surface. Ann found a simple technique that helped her release these emotions - but she went further and can now put her awareness inside her body - and has changed the bone structure of her skull and grown ¾ of an inch at age 55. Ann has found that seeking out our truth, what we truly feel, and accepting those feelings, is the key to inner peace.
