July 17 (my bday!) the nodes of the moon move from the Taurus-Scorpio axis to Aries-Libra.
For the past 18 months we've been working through the Taurus-Scorpio node pairing that asked us to look at our foundations. What is in alignment with our values? What do we want to be anchored into? Meanwhile we were also wrestling with the South Node, which in Scorpio revealed our subconscious fears and was all about uncovering deception and manipulation within power structures. A key question of this placement has been, "Have I given my power away to feel safe and secure?"
Can you kinda see how that's been playing out?
We've been engaged in a collective conversation about what we value, what really matters, and whether systems and institutions we've entrusted are in alignment with that.
We are now shifting into the Aries-Libra node pair. Aries the provocateur, the cycle breaker who ends old stale patterns and launches new realities is our collective North Node, our growth zone, our invitation for the next 18 months. While Libra the peace and love and harmony sign, the sign of balance and reciprocity, the low-key quintessential people pleaser and codependent is our South Node. That's our shadow work, or invitation to reexamine the cost of keeping peace in relationships. This node axis features a critical eye on authenticity. It's going to ask you to release any false self masks that you've been holding on to. It's going to ask you to release people pleasing and approval seeking. And heads up! Inauthenticity is about to become really, really uncomfortable. This placement asks us to welcome the work of disrupting patterns of blending in and folding ourselves up into the origami of what others want us to be.
